Meditation Benefits

According to researchers at Harvard Medical School, long-term practitioners of relaxation methods such as yoga and meditation have more ”disease-fighting genes”, compared to those who practice no form of relaxation. In addition, meditation benefits include stress reduction and physical, mental and emotional well-being improvement. Since meditation also aims at achieving higher vibrational states – it aids us in our spiritual progression. Simply put, one cannot go wrong with meditation.

In a state of deep relaxation, body releases tension, relaxes into a trance state and thoughts seize to exist.

”The effect won’t be achieved by lounging round in an everyday way, nor can you force yourself to relax. You can only really achieve it by learning a specific technique such as self-hypnosis, guided imagery or meditation” says Jake Toby, hypnotherapist from London.

On the biological level, the cells and various organs enjoy a state of rest, enjoyment and physical renewal. Additionally, the heart slows down, blood circulation flows freely.
