Every time we react very strongly to a situation or an event, there’s a possibility that a Wounded Child in us that is asking for love.
Experiencing a wound may be an opportunity for us to heal parts of ourselves that feel unloved, broken or lost. Next time you feel angry, hurt or disappointment, stop and Feel into what your wounded child doing / feeling like right now. Focus on comforting him/her. Ask them what they need. Give yourself and the little child in you a hug, tell them how much you love them and try to meet their needs. Check in with your children often 🙂
